Lockdown Accidentally Initiated At John Jay High School

"It appears at this time the emergency procedure was accidentally initiated by a staff member," state police said. "The school resource officer and state police responded to the emergency call, and quickly determined there was no threat to the safety of any member of the student body, staff, or community."
